Stone sculptures frame the rolling landscape surrounding the village of Poettsching (Burgenland, Austria).
These sculptures were created by sculptors from around the world at the International Sculpture Symposium in St. Margarethen in Burgenland (Austria). The symposium was founded in 1959 by Karl Prantl, an artist born and raised in Poettsching. In 2008 the community of Poettsching provided the spots where sculptures could be placed and organized the transport together with Karl Prantls daughter Katharina.
Beautiful viewing angles open up to the visitor while walking along the small paths and guide through the fields.
All sculptures are loans from the association „Symposium Europaeischer Bildhauer“
